Stacey Smith - Drover

At just 21, Stacey is one of the younger members of the droving team with just as much spunk and experience.

Hailing from her home town of Allambie Station (Menindee and Wilcannia on the Darling River, New South Wales) Staceys natural connection and horse handling ability is evident, seeing her take out honours in the Colt Breakers Challenge in 2008 at Longreach Agriculture College.

As the only female drover to compete in the R.M. Williams invitational ringers (drovers) challenge in 2009, against an entirely male dominated field, Stacey ran second in the open division. This is an achievement she is proud of and will show off these skills as a member of the droving team.
