The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive suits people of all riding abilities. People are matched to horses that suit their experience level - and horses are ridden at a walking pace.

And there are many ways to join the Cattle Drive in 2007, from Adelaide or Alice Springs.

The two main stopover points en route to the Cattle Drive are Coober Pedy and Roxby Downs.

Coober Pedy (serviced by Manguri train stop and Coober Pedy airport) is 842 kilometres from Adelaide, while Roxby Downs (serviced by Olympic Dam airport) is 564 kilometres from Adelaide.
